On-Island Counselor: Dr. Jeff White

Islanders for Islanders is pleased to introduce our new on-island counselor, Dr. Jeffrey White.

Since April, Dr. White has been traveling to the island approximately once a week for therapy sessions with islanders – individuals, families, and couples. Thanks to IHP, sessions take place generally in the apartment over the doctor’s office. For further information about fees and to set up an appointment, please call Dr. White directly. Jeff White is an AAMFT Clinical Fellow and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. He practices in the New Haven area as a marriage and family therapist and is a Certified Gottman Therapist and a Certified Gottman Master Trainer. Dr. White serves on the faculty of Manhattan College and previously served as an MFT faculty member at Iona College as well as the Blanton-Peale Institute in New York. Jeff received his Ph.D. in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University and is licensed to practice as a marriage and family therapist in Connecticut, Texas and New York.
